Puspakom Kajang has begun routine and re-routine inspections for light commercial vehicles. The centre can handle up to 800 vehicles a day across 10 lanes when fully operational.

Puspakom has started light commercial vehicle inspections at its new Kajang branch. This is the second phase of the facility’s rollout, following the earlier start of private vehicle inspections on October 5.

The new service covers routine and re-routine inspections for LCVs. Business operators in Kajang, Semenyih, Beranang, Bangi and nearby areas now have another inspection option.

Puspakom said the branch had recorded 87 LCV bookings from October 28 to 30, made up of 63 routine and 24 re-routine cases. The next phase is set for November 23, when initial and re-initial inspections for LCVs are expected to begin.

The Kajang centre has five lanes for commercial vehicles and five for private vehicles, with a full capacity of up to 800 vehicles a day. It is located at Lot 1A & 1B, Jalan P4/13, Bandar Teknologi Kajang, and operates from 8am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

What it means for you: LCV owners and workshops in the Kajang area now have a larger nearby Puspakom option, but initial and re-initial inspections for LCVs will only start on November 23.
