Puspakom Bangi will narrow its service scope from November 2 and will no longer handle commercial vehicles. Only two private-vehicle tests will remain available at the branch.
Puspakom Bangi will reduce its service scope from November 2, according to a report citing the vehicle inspection company. From that date, the branch will no longer serve commercial vehicles.
Only two inspection types will remain at Bangi: Pemeriksaan Tukar Hak Milik (MV15) and Pemeriksaan Khas (B2). Both are for private vehicles.
For other services, customers are advised to book appointments at other Puspakom branches, including Kajang and Banting, through GiCheck.
The report also noted that Puspakom Kajang opened earlier this month and is scheduled to offer routine inspections for light commercial vehicles from October 28, with full services, including initial and re-initial inspections, starting November 23.
What it means for you: If you bring a commercial vehicle for inspection, do not head to Puspakom Bangi after November 2; book another branch instead.
