Transport Minister Anthony Loke said JPJ services have continued normally after the suspension of MyEG Services Bhd and Zetrix AI Bhd as collection agents. He said the public can still complete transactions through other channels.

Transport Minister Anthony Loke said there has been no disruption to Road Transport Department (JPJ) services after MyEG Services Bhd and Zetrix AI Bhd were suspended as revenue collection agents. He said the department’s service delivery has continued as usual since the suspension took effect earlier this month.

Loke said the public can still carry out JPJ-related transactions through alternative channels. This means motorists should still be able to renew road tax, licence-related services and other JPJ payments without relying only on the suspended channels.

The suspension was announced after the ministry and JPJ moved to stop payment services through the MyEG and Zetrix channels. Loke said the action was taken in response to the companies’ arrears in transferring collected government revenue.

The issue has drawn attention because MyEG and Zetrix had long handled JPJ payment services. For now, Loke’s message is that service access remains open and users should use the available alternatives.

What it means for you: If you normally use MyEG or Zetrix for JPJ transactions, check the official alternative channels first, but the core JPJ services are still operating.
